Ariadni Palace

My Husband and I were lucky enough to manage to get away in the late Summer during the Covid crisis (Sept 2020) and spent two lovely weeks here at Ariadni Palace… having been a few times to Koutouloufari we knew what to expect from the delightful village but this was our first time staying here at AP. We had a nice one bed apartment overlooking the pool and into the main street with tavernas etc. Our room was on split level with a twin bedroom (aircon and safe) and bathroom with cubicle shower) upstairs and kitchen dining area downstairs (down a couple of wooden steps) with a large sunny balcony which included a washing airer. The family were very welcoming and pleasant even smiling through their worries with not many tourists in resort and of course income on the whole vastly reduced for all in the village and Greece in general. We dined at the family restaurant 4 times during our stay once being breakfast and the first night we arrived very late so just a quick pizza between us!, after that we enjoyed a proper leisurely evening meal twice and enjoyed our meals, pizzas especially very nice and you can see them being prepared for you in the stone bake oven at the front, we always like to eat around at different tavernas when on holiday and not in the same place all the time so 3 or 4 times in two weeks is not bad, although some people seemed to be regulars. We liked our stay with Ariadni being so central and have booked to go again in May 21 – Covid and restrictions permitting.

friendly warming and professional family establishment stayed here twice in the past 2 years location is excellent and the food is Greek food at its best with warm Cretan hospitality to go with it menu is plentiful and reasonably priced and rooms clean and modern with great views both sides of the building also great to see 4 generations of family running this place cant fault it i will back thanks for a nice stay.

Every thing! Great staff, lovely food, nice apartment, super location. Amazing value for money. Nothing but praise, we will return as many other guests seem to do.
